(Football news) Serie A club Juventus have reached an agreement with Paul Pogba who is set to sign a four year contract. The Frenchman will be re-signing for the Turin based club on a free transfer yet again, subject to a medical scheduled for Saturday. Pogba left Manchester United last month when his contract expired with the Red Devils and will return to the club where he spent four successful years. 

The four year contract Juventus have offered Pogba could very well be his last big contract in his career. Manchester City were also interested in the Frenchman’s signature but Pogba decided not to move to Manchester United’s local rivals and endure the wrath and hate of his former club's fans. His departure from Manchester United was a controversial one, with Pogba claiming that the Red Devils offered him “nothing” despite being offered two contracts worth over £290,000 a week, a 3.5% increase on his previous salary. 

In his Amazon Prime documentary, Pogba is seen speaking to his late agent Mino Raiola. The French midfielder asked “Did Manchester [United] make a second offer?" to which Raiola replied “Yes. They absolutely want you to stay. For me, the offer doesn't reflect that. I told them, 'If you want him to stay, don't make that offer'. I will make them understand that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, this time they have to act differently and put the money on the table.” "They're bluffing," Pogba said. "How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that."
