(Motorsport) Williams have announced that their 2023 car will be launched on February 6th at 14:00 GMT, The Formula 1 team have struggled in recent years, finishing last in four of the five years, securing only eight points in the 2022 season. The team will feature Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant (who finished fourth in Formula 2 last year) for the 2023 season. Sergeant became the first American Formula 1 driver since Alexander Rossi in 2015.

Williams will feature a new team boss for the 2023 season after Jost Capito departed last year but a replacement is yet to be announced. The team have also signed Franco Colapinto to the Williams Drivers Academy. The 19 year old completed his rookie FIA Formula 3 campaign last year, winning two races and finishing on the podium three times. The Argentinian racer won the Spanish F4 title in 2019, winning 11 races. He also drove in both Formula Renault Eurocup and Toyota Racing Series in 2020, finishing third with three victories and 17 podiums combined.
