Milestone match-up on the cards as Chennaiyin FC, Mumbai City FC square off in ISL’s 1000th game celebration

Eleven years of footballing marvel will reach one of its most prominent landmarks as the Indian Super League (ISL) celebrates its 1000th game when Mumbai City FC visit Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on November 9, at 5:00 pm IST. At the end of 998 games until now, 2791 goals have been scored, seeing 10 finals, six different playoff winners, and four separate league shield victors. The foundation for this transformative competition was laid with ATK’s 3-0 win against Mumbai City FC on October 12, 2014, in the first-ever ISL match.
