(Cricket news) The Dream11 Super Smash presented by KFC 100-day countdown is on!
The action-packed schedule released today features all 32 men’s and women’s double-headers hosted across 10 venues in Aotearoa, all broadcast live free-to-air on TVNZ+ and Duke for the first time in the competition’s history.
Meaning whether you’re parked up on the bank or streaming from the beach, you can watch every ball of New Zealand’s premiere domestic T20 competition from wherever your summer holiday takes you.
Round one begins at the Eden Park Outer Oval on Tuesday 19 December with the 2022 Women’s Dream11 Super Smash champions, the Canterbury Magicians, facing hosts Auckland HEARTS.
Back-to-back Men’s champions, Northern Brave, will kick-start their competition at home at Seddon Park on Friday 22 December against their neighbours the Central Stags.
Double-headers will be played in Wellington on Christmas Eve, in Christchurch on Boxing Day, and returning to Alexandra on New Year’s Day.
Aligning with the school holidays, the competition will run through until January 28 2024 which sees the WHITE FERNS available for the majority of the schedule.
NZC GM of Venues, Facilities and Events, Graham Parks said the 2023-24 Dream11 Super Smash is going to be the competition’s biggest season yet.
“To have our flagship domestic competition available to as many New Zealanders as possible is a fantastic opportunity,” he said.
“It’s a tremendous opportunity to build the profiles of our domestic teams and players and bring in new people that have watched cricket to the game.”
Along with broadcasting every match live on TVNZ+ and Duke, the TVNZ+ platform will also feature highlights and content from all matches offering fans new ways to engage with the Dream11 Super Smash.
