Indian Women set to lock horns with England in Bristol for decider T20I

(Cricket news) Indian women's team gear up to take on England in the 3rd T20I. The 3-match series is tied at 1-1 after two one sided games. Both the teams have shown their quality in 1 match and completely caved in the other match. The 3rd one promises to be a much closer affair considering that it is a decider. India were favourites before the series started as England were missing a lot of key players but after the home side's performance in the first match it is pretty even. India don't have a good record in high pressure matches but this will be a good test for this young side.

India's ideal playing XI:

Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Dayalan Hemalatha, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Richa Ghosh (wk), Kiran Navgire, Pooja Vastrakar, Sneh Rana, Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Renuka Singh

Bench:

Simran Bahadur, Taniya Bhatia, Meghna Singh, Sabbhineni Meghana, Rajeshwari Gayakwad

India have no reason to change their playing XI as they have played with the same team in both games. This match could be very important for Hemalatha and Navgire as one of them will have to make way for Jemimah Rodrigues once she comes back. This will be a good chance for the two newcomers to make a mark. Pooja Vastrakar has had two very underwhelming performances and she will be looking to bounce back.

England's ideal playing XI:

Sophia Dunkley, Danielle Wyatt, Alice Capsey, Amy Jones (c & wk), Maia Bouchier, Bryony Smith, Sophie Ecclestone, Freya Kemp, Sarah Glenn, Issy Wong, Kate Cross

Bench:

Freya Davies, Lauren Bell

England's seam bowling wasn't upto the mark in the last game. They have Wong and Cross on the bench and it would be surprising if they don't use their services. Davies and Bell haven't been too bad but Wong and Cross bring something else to the table. England's opening pair of Wyatt and Dunkley are going to be very crucial once again. Amy Jones also has to be a little better with her bowling changes and field placements.
