(Cricket news) India are all set to take on Ireland for the 2nd and final T20I. The men in blue comfortably won the rain affected 1st T20I and now will be looking to seal the series. Ireland will be hoping to bounce back and tie the series which will be a remarkable achievement for them. It will be very difficult for them to get the better of this Indian side who has a lot of talent and most of them are playing to earn their place in the team for the World Cup.
India's possible playing XI:
Venkatesh Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Umran Malik
Bench: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh & Harshal Patel
Ruturaj Gaikwad didn't bat in the last game as he had a niggle. Venkatesh Iyer is the ideal replacement who has been waiting for his opportunity. Sanju Samson and Rahul Tripathi are the other options but Venkatesh deserves the opportunity. Umran Malik made his debut in the last match but only bowled one over which turned out to be expensive. He is likely to get another opportunity where he can hopefully bowl four overs. There is a chance that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is rested for the game which means that Arshdeep Singh could get his debut cap.
The weather forecast suggests that there will be a lot of rain before the match but not during. Despite the forecast there is a chance that rain interrupts the play which is why the team that wins the toss would like to bowl first. India's seam bowling wasn't particularly impressive in the last match which is something that the team will look to improve. Yuzvendra Chahal was the man of the match in the last game and he will again be very crucial for the visitors.
