(Football news) Bremer may join Inter this transfer window as he has already agreed personal terms with the club with Torino and Inter are trying to negotiate the fee for the 25 year old Brazilian. Bremer feels that the Nerazzurri is the right move for him at this stage of his career, and he will also be a good fit for their project and the tactical ideas of Inzaghi. There is still no agreement with Torino regarding the fee but the Nerazzurri are working on the deal as they could offer Andrea Pinamonti which could be a part of a cash-plus-player swap to convince them.
The player is only thinking about joining Inter and hoping the move comes soon after agreeing personal terms with the club. Inter are also close to completing the signings of Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani and Cagliari wingback Raoul Bellanova. Spurs are also interested in signing him as they are set to go up against Inter Milan for the Brazilian defender's signature. Inter and Tottenham both need to raise funds for any signings by selling players first. Antonio Conte’s team were knocked back in their approach for Inter's Alessandro Bastoni as it appears they may need to look at other defenders in the market. Spurs could take advantage of that fact they haven’t agreed the fee as they still can beat Inter to the signing of Gleison Bremer.
The 25-year-old is closing in on 100 league appearances for Torino as he is currently on 98 league appearances which shows that he is a centre-back who knows the league very well. He was also voted the best defender in Serie A for 2021-22. Bremer tackles per 90 minutes 1.5 and interceptions 3.2 which tends to suggest he is a more proactive defender. Bremer this season has more clearances 4.5 and blocks 0.8 per game this season, which was subsequently the best in the league. Inter are also at the risk of losing Bastoni and Milan Skrinar as both are looking to leave the club and Bremer could act as the perfect replacement.
