(Boxing news) In the most heated rivalry in recent history, Fury and Wilder faced off each other for the third and final time as they both delivered an amazing performance to entertain boxing fans all over the world. A clash between two legendary heavy weights did not disappoint as both men gave their heart and soul, Tyson Fury eventually won the bout by the virtue of 11th round knockout to retain his World Boxing Council and The Ring Magazine heavyweight titles.The walkout for both the boxers for the trilogy match sure set the tone of how the night was going to pan out in a sold out T- mobile arena in Las Vegas. 

Round 1: the first round began in emphatic fashion as Wilder threw plenty of jabs and body shots on Fury as he was still assessing his opponent out, the round was one by Wilder 10-9.

Round 2: the second round had a pretty similar story as Wilder was continuously looking for the big right hook, but Fury assessed this situation and landed some massive blows himself which somewhat tilted the round in favour of him 10-9, Fury 19 – 19 Wilder.

Round 3: in the third round, Fury was far more aggressive and landed a massive right hand on Wilder which dropped him on the canvas although Wilder beat the count he looked very unsteady as Fury went in for the finish only be saved by the bell, this round Fury clearly won 10-8, Fury 29 – 27 Wilder.

Round 4: the story of the fourth round was completely different as the fans thought that Fury will get the win by knockout but Wilder still shaken from the previous round finally connects with a big right hand and knocks Fury down as he manages to beat the count, Wilder seeing this unloads a combination which results in another knock down for him as Fury clearly looked very shaken, the round was won by Wilder 10-7, Fury 36 – 37 Wilder.

Round 5: after three combined knockdowns both the fighters seemed to be tiring, Wilder again was looking for his massive right hand but Fury with his experience tactfully defended it as he too landed some few combination at the end of the round, this was the closest round of the fight, Fury won the round 10-9, Fury 46 – 46 Wilder.

Round 6: Fury, seeing that his opponent was getting tired, started pressing and landed a few punches, but the ‘bronze bomber’ landed a massive right hand which rocked Fury a bit, even after that he won that round 10-9, Fury 56 – 55 Wilder.

Round 7: In round seven, Wilder seemed completely drained out as Fury was battering him with punches after punches, but Wilder showed extreme grit and determination to stand on his feet, Fury won that round quite comprehensively 10-8, Fury 66 – 63 Wilder.

Round 8: Wilder was almost failing over as he continued to throw haymakers as Fury started to assert his dominance, it was clear that his fitness was far better than Wilders which he took full advantage of, Fury won that round 10-9, Fury 76 – 72 Wilder.

Round 9: in the ninth round Wilder is showing tremendous fights and guts as he continuously gets battered by Fury but in the end of the round he somehow catches him with a massive right hand, Fury though again won that round 10-9, Fury 86 – 81 Wilder.

Round 10: It was incredible to think that this bout went till the tenth round as Fury catches Wilder with a massive right hook which again drops him on the canvas, but somehow, someway Wilder beats the count as his legs looked very unsteady, Fury won that round 10-8 , Fury 96 – 89 Wilder.

Round 11: After a brutal beat down by Fury, he finally landed a brutal knockout punch which dropped him flat on the canvas as the referee called a stop to the fight, Fury won by TKO.

With this win Tyson Fury surely edges his way into one of the greatest ever heavyweights to fight as he improved his record to 31 wins 0 losses 1 draw and 22 wins by KO. This rivalry has been the talk of the town over the last two years and finally came to a conclusion when Fury had the final laugh winning the trilogy 2-1-0. For Wilder this was his only second loss as he left the arena with a bruised eye and a suspected broken hand as of now his record stands 42 wins 2 losses and 1 draw as 41 victories have come via KO

Reacting to the defeat, Wilder said “I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened. I know that in training he did certain things, and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277lbs to be a ballet dancer. He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”

After the victory by Fury, Wilder refused to pay him any respect in the immediate aftermath.

Asked what he said to Wilder in the ring, “I just said, Well done and he said I don’t wanna show any sportsmanship or respect. I said, No problem. Very surprised. Sore loser. Idiot.”

He later added “He’s got no love for me, Deontay Wilder, because you know why? I beat him three times. I’m a sportsman, I went over to him to show some love and respect and he didn’t want to give it back. That’s his problem. I will pray for him so God will soften his heart.”
