Bowlers looking to be on top in this year’s T20 World Cup (Part 2)

(Cricket news): As the T20 World Cup gets underway in October second week, there are a lot of teams who have underperformed in the most exciting format of the game. Sri Lankan side have been going down the rankings in T20 and will try to improve their standard to their old days. Pakistan bowling attack is known to produce top bowlers and they will look to upset the top ranked teams.

The Afghanistan team had doubts over their participation since the current political situation is not stable. They have confirmed their participation though and will look to put Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman to good use. Rashid Khan will lead the side and is one of the best T20 bowlers in the world right now.

The Pakistan team will heavily rely on their bowlers as their batting lineup is not as strong. Shaheen Afridi was on fire against the recent West Indies series as he looked to do the same in the shorter format of the game. They also have Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim to tackle the opposition.

The Bangladesh side has Shakib Al Hasan who can bat and ball and is arguably the greatest cricketer to have played for Bangladesh in limited-overs cricket. Their bowling will also include Shoriful Islam who is the leading wicket taker for his team in T20 this year and also their top ranked bowler Mustafizur Rahman.

Sri Lankan team has a lot of new faces around this time, with their top bowlers retiring and their new bowlers are young ones looking to confirm their place on the team. The experience factor will be a price to pay but they will look for the new players to shine on the biggest stage. Wanindu Hasaranga is the leading wicket taker in T20 for the team and has Dushmantha Chameera along with Akila Dananjaya who took a hat trick against West Indies this year.
