The Barcelona forward netted a spectacular free kick to keep his team’s hopes of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup alive in a recent encounter against Venezuela.
The goal was scored in the 43rd minute when Raphinha curled a shot that completely confused the Venezuelan goalie.
Raphinha’s goal, however, was insufficient to give Brazil three points when Venezuela tied the score one minute into the second half. The match ended in a 1:1 draw.
