Barcelona look to progress through and Dortmund will to look make a comeback

(Football news) After an entertaining draw at the Camp Nou, Barcelona will have their task cut out as they face an in-form Napoli team who have been quite formidable at home this season. In the first leg Luciano Spalletti’s men were on course for a famous win at the Camp Nou after Piotr Zielinski's opener but Ferran Torres scored from the spot but Xavi’s side will be regretting all the missed chances in the first leg. Napoli would have boasted the upper hand in this tie, but now the no away goals rule means that it is all to play for in Naples. Spalletti's men will enter the match having played a disappointing 1-1 draw which was their third in succession. Napoli are currently on a six-game unbeaten run across all competitions, but have only managed two wins out of the last six on home soil and they need to improve on their home form if they stand a chance against this new-look Barcelona outfit.

Xavi's side would have taken a first-leg advantage to Naples had they been a little more ruthless in front as Ferran Torres missed quite a lot of opportunities to double their lead in the first leg but Barca bounced back in ruthless fashion against Valencia, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's hat-trick and Frenkie de Jong's effort helped to a convincing 4-1 victory. Aubameyang appears to be banishing the demons of his Arsenal exit, and the former Borussia Dortmund man is playing a key role in ensuring that the ongoing Dembele saga has a positive ending.

For Napoli, Hirving Lozano, Stanislav Lobotka, Andre Zambo Anguissa,Di Lorenzo nor Malcuit are cleared to play. For Barca, Clement Lenglet, Memphis Depay, Samuel Umtiti, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Blade and Sergi Roberto will all miss as Eric Garcia and Frenkie de Jong remain doubtful after being substituted early against Valencia.

Van Bronckhorst and his players will now be fully focused on getting across the line, while their league form has taken a dip, but their record at Ibrox across all competitions will provide them with a lot of confidence. Rangers have won their last nine home games by an aggregate score of 22-0 and have also won their last two European home matches . Dortmund on the other hand, sit in second place in the Bundesliga standings and are six points adrift behind the leaders Bayern Munich .Dortmund this season have been so inconsistent that head coach Marco Rose will be keen to rectify. But Dortmund have found the back of the net in each of their last 10 away games this season and at least scoring twice on those six occasions

For Dortmund, they will also be without Manuel Akanji (calf), Dan-Axel Zagadou (thigh), Mateu Morey and Marcel Schmelzer (both knee) due to injury and Gio Reyna suffered a season ending injury against Gladbach. For Rangers, they will be without midfielder Aaron Ramsey due to a minor knock, while Ianis Hagi is ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
