(Cricket news) Tahlia McGrath was on fire with the bat and ball as Australia Women won the first IT20 of the Women's Ashes and went 2-0 up in the multi-format series.
Tahlia hit 91 from just 49 balls to chase down England's 169-4, and as the visitors' promising showing with the bat went in vain. Earlier, McGrath had taken 3 wickets to trouble England back after Danni Wyatt had made a solid 70.
The second IT20 will also be played at Adelaide Oval, on Saturday. The multi-format Ashes is the best of 16 points, with two points each for a white-ball game and four points for the Test match.
