Serie A: Napoli maintained their 100% start as both Milan clubs won hard fought matches, Juventus come out victorious in the Turin Derby

(Football news) Napoli continued their excellent start to the season as they won their first 7 matches in the league to consolidate their top position in Serie A and also be the only team in Europe's big leagues to have a 100% record. On the other hand both the Milan clubs maintained pressure on Napoli as the clubs fought hard to win their matches, Juventus also scraped past Torino to move up the table.

AC Milan won 3-2 against Atalanta in was an enthralling match, Stefan Poli’s side were ahead right from the kickoff as Calabria scored within 31 seconds off the start. AC Milan were completely dominant in the first half as a second goal from Sandro Tonali in 42 minute had virtually sealed the game for them but a resurgent Atalanta in the second half had different ideas. They were much better in the second half but a third from in form Rafael Leao sealed the game for the Rossenaris, although Atalanta scored two goals late on through Zapata and Pasalic in wasn’t enough for the comeback. AC Milan after this result is on 2nd position with 19 points just two points behind Napoli

Napoli won 2-1 against a tough Fiorentina opposition. After the midweek disappointment against Spartak Moscow, Spalletti’s side were desperate to get back to winning ways. In the first half, Fiorentina struck first through Martinez after he brilliantly finished Vlahovic’s cross but Napoli were quick to respond through Hirving Lozano after Insigne missed the penalty he trashed the ball in the roof of the net. In the second half, Napoli quickly took the lead through Rrahmani in the 50th minute to wrap up their 7th victory of the season. With this win Napoli have got maximum points of 21 and are on top the league with a two point advantage over Milan

Juventus scrapped to a 1-0 victory over Torino in the Turin Derby, Allegri’s side are on the resurgence after a terrible start to the season. The first half was an end to end contest, both the sides were cancelling each other out with several chances as the half ended 0-0. The second half story was completely different as the Juventus were at their dominant best but resolute defending from Torino meant that chances were few, Locatelli in the dying moments broke the Torino hearts as he scored probably Juve’s most important goal this season. With this result Juventus climbed to 7th position with 11 points.

Inter won 2-1 against Sassuolo to maintain pressure at the top of the table, Inzaghi’s side were not at their best as in the first half Sassuolo were the better side as they opened the scoring through Berardi after he scored a penalty. A comeback was on in the second half as their two talisman Dzeko and Martinez ensured that Inter would walk away with three points and keep in touch with runaway leaders Napoli.With this result Inter are in third position with 17 points.
