Sathiyan goes down fighting in Tokyo

(Table Tennis news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: In Table Tennis Men’s singles Sathiyan Gnanasekaran fought till the end but couldn't make it against Hong Kong’s Lam Siu Hang in the round of 32 in Men’s singles in Tokyo Olympics. The indian was leading 3-1 when Lam Siu Hang took the last three games to take the match. The first game saw Lam Siu Hang win, the next three games took only 20 minutes to complete as Sathiyan sweeped it off and the fifth game he did come close as he scored 9 points. The sixth came ended as Lam Siu Hang somehow won by 12 points and the last game he took it easier than expected.

The match took over an hour to complete as the rallies were long, the longest one till 18 strokes. The Indians are still in the fray for podium finish in Table Tennis as we saw some magic yesterday, we still have hope for an impressive ending.
