India out of men’s skeet shooting; Angad Bajwa places 18th in qualification

(Shooting sport news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: Both Indian shooters who competed in the Tokyo Olympics today were unable to qualify for the final. Angad Bajwa finished 18th in the Men's Skeet qualification round, while Mairaj Khan came in 25th.

With their exit, Indian sports fans will have to wait a little longer to see their country earn its first Olympic medal in the sport in Tokyo.

Despite competing in five events in three days, India has yet to win a single medal in Shooting, a sport they were anticipated to dominate at the Tokyo Olympics.

With 120 hits, Angad Bajwa places 18th in Men's Skeet qualification, while Mairaj places 25th with 117.
