In the latest cricket news, England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the remaining IT20s and ODIs against Sri Lanka after enduring a right calf injury in the first game at Sophia Gardens on Wednesday.
Buttler underwent an MRI scan which revealed a small tear. He felt tightness and discomfort at the end of the match after his unbeaten 68 secured an eight-wicket win for England.
Buttler will return home today and start his rehabilitation programme.
Yorkshire batter Dawid Malan has been added to the ODI squad for the upcoming Sri Lanka Royal London ODI Series.
