(Hockey news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: Australia’s unbeaten run at the Women’s Hockey came to an end as the Indians pulled off a major upset in the Tokyo Olympics. They beat the Aussies 1-0 as Gurjit Kaur scored the lone goal in the 2nd quarter at the 22nd minute, it was a penalty shot corner.

The Indian women are through to the semifinals which will be played on 4th of August. This is their third appearance at the Olympic games after Moscow in 1980 and Rio in 2016. They will look to better their best performance which came 41 years ago in the 1980 Moscow Olympics where they finished fourth.
