The Bangladesh tour of New Zealand has been rescheduled following the current Covid-19 situation. The white ball series consisting of 3 ODIs and 3 T20s which was due to commence from March 13, will now start on March 20. According to a press release by New Zealand Cricket, the amendments in the schedule were “caused by ongoing challenges in the current COVID-19 environment and the need to allow visiting sides adequate preparation for international commitments.” A statement in the press release further added, “To accommodate the necessary logistics, the Bangladesh tour will now begin seven days later than initially scheduled, following a five-day training camp at Queenstown, with matches to be played at the venues first planned, but on different dates.” The 3 ODI’s that were scheduled to be held on March 13,17 and 20 will now be held on March 20, at Dunedin, March 23 at Christchurch and March 26 at Napier The 3 T20s which were previously supposed to be played on March 23, 26 and 28 will now be played on March 28 at Hamilton, March 30 at Napier and April 1 in Auckland. NZC also announced three Women’s New Zealand vs Australia T20s as double-headers along with the Men’s New Zealand vs Bangladesh T20s.
