Capello Hails Ancelotti as Best Manager

“Ancelotti is the best manager in the world because he knows how to manage the team, understands football, positions players effectively, and shows great commitment. He has significantly contributed to Kylian Mbappé’s success, which is a remarkable achievement,” said Fabio Capello, the former manager of Real Madrid during the 1996/1997 and 2006/2007 seasons, who voiced his deep admiration for the current head coach Carlo Ancelotti during a recent ceremony announcing the nominees for the Laureus Awards.

Capello underlined the significance of a coach having a clear vision for the team’s future objectives and identifying their assets.  “The most important thing for a coach is to know what you have and where you want to go; if you don’t understand that, it leads to failure, and Ancelotti knows that perfectly,” he said.

“I have seen all of them play, and they are very good,” Capello said in reference to Raúl Asencio, one of Real Madrid’s brilliant young players.  If they are present, it is because they are of high quality, and it is crucial to exercise patience while they grow.

Lamine Yamal, a member of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, was also discussed by Capello.  “Lamine is doing amazing things,” he said.  He was compared to Messi when he first joined Barcelona, but he lacks Messi’s brilliance.  He is a top player, though.
