Pedri Talks De Jong, Casado, Flick, Transformation

Pedri, a midfielder for Barcelona, has said he is confident that Frenkie de Jong will soon be back to his peak.

Due to recurrent ailments, the Dutch midfielder has had a difficult season and has not been able to play at his typical high level.

Despite his return to action, De Jong is obviously still not fully recovered. Pedri is still hopeful, though, and thinks De Jong’s best performances are imminent, which would greatly strengthen Barcelona’s midfield.

He started by adding, “I’m confident we’ll see Frenkie in his best form soon.”

Pedri refers to Casado as “The Pitbull.”

Pedri emphasized Marc Casado’s growing influence in addition to De Jong. Casado just made his Spain debut on the international scene.

Casado’s constant attempts to regain possession were praised by Pedri, who described him as a tenacious presence on the field.

It is clear that the young player has left a lasting impression on his teammates, and Pedri’s appreciation highlights the breadth of talent Barcelona is developing in its own ranks.

“I really value him. Because he constantly presses like a beast to get the ball back, I refer to him as “the pitbull.” He’s a player who has really caught me off guard,” he said.

Pedri’s performances have been steadily getting better, and he has been having an incredible season.

Pedri’s goal during Barcelona’s resounding 5-1 victory over Sevilla was one of the pivotal moments. Manager Hansi Flick’s joyous celebration of this goal added to its memorability.

According to Pedri, the coach’s actions demonstrate their mutual confidence and trust.

“I try to repay the coach for his confidence in me, which is demonstrated by the way he celebrates your goal.”

Pedri feels physically stronger and more consistent in his contributions than ever before, which appears to be a result of Flick’s support.

Indeed, you might say so, particularly in terms of physical attributes. It’s been a while since I felt this way.

He said, “I’ve been missing regularity for a while, and when you have regularity, you enjoy football more.”

However, fans could be surprised by some of Pedri’s personal revelations. Beyond football, he is actively learning English and exploring cooking, often in collaboration with his teammate Lamine.
