Neymar Given Transfer Advice Ahead of 2026 WC

Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Neymar has received “perfect preparation” transfer counsel as he stirs up rumors about Al-Hilal, Inter Miami, and Santos.

After missing more than a year due to damage to his knee ligament, the Brazilian superstar is currently back on the sidelines in Saudi Arabia. There have been rumors that his Middle East contract may expire in January 2025.

Neymar has been connected to a move to the United States, where he would rejoin former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at MLS team Inter Miami, amid rumors that free agency may be affected. There has also been much discussion about going back to his origins at Santos.

When questioned by ESPN about his connections to a wayward son, club president Marcelo Teixeira said that Neymar’s chances of joining Santos are still open. We cannot openly declare that it will take place in January or June. The reality is that anything might happen at this moment. The parties are close as soon as anything occurs.

With Neymar hoping to rekindle a lost spark before the upcoming World Cup finals, Teixeira continued, saying: “You can see his joy, he himself says he is at home here.” For Santos, as well as for Brazilian football, this is a favorable and constructive element. He is glad and content. If this occurs, it might be Neymar’s best World Cup preparation, in my opinion.

Although Neymar has said that he would be amenable to prolonging his contract with Al-Hilal, he might lose control of any upcoming calls there. At age 32, a new beginning—possibly in similar surroundings—might be the best course of action for everyone.
