Potential Barcelona Signings 2025

Barcelona seems to be the favorite to win the league this season after a fantastic start to the season.

However, coach Hansi Flick has already begun planning for the upcoming season as we approach the international break. Notably, he is considering up to three players who may join the team for free the following summer.

Joshua Kimmich is one of the people Flick is pursuing. Flick, who coached the German international and Bayern Munich star at both Bayern and the national team, knows him well.

Kimmich’s versatility as a right-back and central midfielder makes him a very valuable asset.

His tactical acumen and in-depth knowledge of Flick’s scheme would enable a smooth transition into Barcelona’s configuration, bringing both creative energy and defensive steadiness.

As he seeks to strengthen his defensive unit options, Flick may also consider Alphonso Davies.

Additionally, the energetic full-back and Flick had a close bond from their time at Bayern.

Davies, who is renowned for his explosive speed and offensive ability on the left wing, would challenge Alejandro Balde and add a fresh element to Barcelona’s wide play.

However, Real Madrid, who are also eager to hire the Canadian international, will present Barcelona with fierce competition.

Speaking of Canadians, Jonathan David is another player Barcelona is considering acquiring. Because of his effectiveness in front of goal, the LOSC Lille prodigy has become a sought-after prospect in Europe.

David would be a perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski because of his excellent work ethic and sharp goal-seeking ability.

In addition to adding striking depth, David would guarantee Barcelona’s front line will continue to be strong for many years to come. Additionally, he would be a cost-effective choice for the Catalans because his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
