Real Madrid Superstar Out 2-3 Weeks with Injury

Only a few days after making a comeback to play, Real Madrid has formally revealed that goalie Thibaut Courtois has sustained yet another injury. This is a really depressing situation.

“After undergoing examinations by Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Thibaut Courtois was found to have a left leg adductor muscle injury. The club’s statement said, “Pending development.”

Following an injury sustained during last month’s derby against Atletico Madrid, Courtois had been sidelined for a few weeks.

After recuperating during the international break, the Belgian goalie returned to action this past weekend against Celta Vigo.

Courtois helped Real Madrid pull off a thrilling 5-2 comeback victory against Borussia Dortmund last night with a standout effort.

According to Mario Cortegana, he has now been sidelined once more and is anticipated to miss two to three weeks of action.

A major blow to Real Madrid will result from the goalkeeper’s exclusion from this weekend’s pivotal El Clasico matchup against Barcelona.

Against their fierce rivals, Andriy Lunin will start for the defending La Liga champions.

Due to a hamstring injury he sustained last night against Dortmund, Courtois is joining Rodrygo on the medical table. The Brazilian is also not playing in the weekend Clasico.

Dani Carvajal and David Alaba are also sidelined for Real Madrid.
