Romano, a 20-year-old Premier League striker in excellent form, is not being pursued by Barcelona.

Transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano has stated that, in contrast to recent claims, Barcelona is not working on a deal for Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran.

The 20-year-old Duran has scored four goals in five Premier League games this season, all while starting on the bench for Aston Villa.

The youthful Colombian attacker, meanwhile, has only made one appearance in the League Cup and has scored one goal.

Because of Duran’s strong start to the season, there were rumors in his native country that Barcelona was fond of the young attacker.

Fabrizio Romano has since emphasized, nevertheless, that the rumors that were going around had no truth to them and that the Blaugrana are not currently working on anything related to Duran.

The 20-year-old forward, who has played in 12 matches for Colombia, was said to be heading to West Ham United in the summer, but that deal fell through.

Since then, he has worked hard and shown promise at Aston Villa, drawing interest from other teams. Barcelona isn’t currently working on anything involving the child, though.

According to the Italian writer, Robert Lewandowski has started the new season brilliantly under Hansi Flick, and as of right now, Barcelona has all faith in him.

In fact, following a poor season under Xavi Hernandez last time around, the 36-year-old looks to be back to his form with seven goals and two assists from eight appearances across all competitions.

Lewandowski is seen by Flick and Barcelona as a vital element of the squad, and despite summer transfer rumors, both parties are very satisfied with one another.
