The men’s and women’s teams of England will play India concurrently in series in the middle of summer, according to the announcement of their home schedules for the season to come. The first women’s Test match at Lord’s will take place in 2026 when India returns for a one-off match, according to confirmation from the ECB.
The West Indies women’s and men’s teams will visit together in 2025, and the England men will play a one-off Test against Zimbabwe before hosting South Africa for an ODI and Twenty20I series to end the summer. On May 21, England Women take on West Indies in the first of three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), with three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) to follow, at Canterbury’s St Lawrence Ground to kick off the international season.
The first England-India Test will take place in Leeds starting on June 20. Beginning on July 2, the second Test will take place in Birmingham. The fourth and fifth Tests are slated to be held in Manchester and The Oval, respectively, with the third Test taking place at Lord’s starting on July 10. The five T20Is on June 28 (Nottingham), July 1 (Bristol), July 4 (The Oval), July 9 (Manchester), and July 12 (Birmingham) mark the start of the India women’s tour of England. Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) will be held in Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street on July 16, 19, and 22 respectively, after this.
“Staging England Men’s and England Women’s series alongside each other has been popular with fans and supported the continued growth of the women’s game, with both the Ashes last year and the Pakistan series earlier this year proving successful. I’m excited we’ll be doing the same again for the West Indies and India series next year. Cricket fans are in for a real treat, and I hope they’ll be out in force to support both men’s and women’s sides,” said ECB CEO Richard Gould.
“India touring is always a big draw and a highlight of any cricket summer. The last men’s Test series here was a nail-biter and I’m sure next year’s clash will be just as exciting, while our women’s series are always fiercely competitive. I’m delighted we’ll also be welcoming both West Indies teams back again for white-ball series, following this year’s men’s Test series,” said Gould, who added that India women will return to England in 2026 to feature in the first-ever women’s Test at Lord’s.
With the Hundred likely to take up much of August, England Men’s international program will conclude with six white-ball games against South Africa before travelling to Ireland for a three-match ODI series.
