The Krafton India-Korea Invitational Esports Event Begins in Delhi

The India-Korea Invitational involves heated confrontations between top players in the smartphone apps BGMI, Road to Valor: Empires, and Real Cricket 22.

(Motorsports news) Krafton has become one of the largest names in the Indian Esports sector as a result of the massive popularity of Battlegrounds Mobile India aka BGMI. It has staged some of the country’s most well-known Esport contests with large prize pools, such as BGIS. It has launched the India-Korea Invitational Esports event, which features some of the best personalities in the community, as part of its attempts to grow Esports and raise awareness.

The India-Korea Invitational Esports event is now underway at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. It brings together elite esports players from three popular games: BGMI, Road to Valor: Empires, and Real Cricket 22. Chang Jae-bok, Korean Ambassador to India, Nivruti Rai, MD and CEO of Invest India, Shiv Sharma, Deputy Director General, Sports Authority of India, and Piyush Jain, Governing Board Member of Sports Authority of India all attended the inauguration ceremony.

As a mark of thanks, Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Krafton India, presented the Korean ambassador and other guests with a lovingly created India-Korea stationery box. It is a unique gift created by people with remarkable powers in South Korea. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, goalkeeper for the Indian national football team, and Sunita Duggal, Honourable Member of Parliament from Sirsa, Haryana, also attended the event.

The India-Korea Invitational, which began with BGMI, featured eight Indian teams, including Gladiator Esports, Big Brother Esports, Team X Spark, Blind Esports, Gods Reign, and Revenant Esports. These teams will face eight top-tier Korean teams, including Dplus Kia, Duksan Esports, Eagle Owls, and NS RedForce. It is a three-day competition with a prize pool of Rs 1 crore that will conclude on October 28.

The Road to Valor: Empires competition involves the top eight invited Indian players. Karan Manganani of Jaipur, Hrishikesh Harle of Pune, Bonthu Govind of Hyderabad, Arnav Manoj of Mumbai, Arvind Kumar of Dhanbad, Jeet Anand Upadhayaya of Ahemadabad, Prakash Tiwari of Rewa, and Aakansha Malwiya of Jodhpur are among them. It is also a three-day competition with a Rs 1 lakh prize pool.

Davinder Singh, Anurag Prabhakar, Jayesh Laljibhai Kotadiya, and Razin Pathan have all been invited to Real Cricket 22. This tournament has a prize pool of Rs 10 lakhs.
