10. West Indies vs Kenya: 1996 World Cup

Bangladesh pulled off a stunning upset by defeating India in the 2007 World Cup. After Bangladesh set up a target of 223/9, India’s innings collapsed as they were dismissed for 161. This loss knocked India of the 2007 World Cup and it also bought new changes to India’s white ball set-up. 

2. Afghanistan vs England: 2023 World Cup

Afghanistan shocked the defending champions England in the 2023 World Cup, winning by 69 runs. Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman each took three wickets, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ikram Ali Khan contributed with the bat. This was Afghanistan’s second win in an ODI World Cup, the first being their victory over Scotland in the 2015 World Cup.

During the 2011 World Cup, Ireland surprised England by successfully chasing down a large target of 328. Ireland won by a historic margin of three wickets thanks to a landmark innings played by Kevin O’Brien, who scored the then-fastest century in an ODI World Cup.
