At the present Asian Games in Hangzhou on Thursday, the men’s 10m Air Pistol team event was won by the Indian shooting team, adding yet another medal to their collection.
In order to surpass China, which came in second with 1733 points, Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal amassed a combined total of 1734 points. Vietnam, on the other hand, came in third place with 1730 points and won bronze.
India has won a total of 24 medals at this year’s Asiad, including four golds in shooting. Sarabjot came in fourth place overall with 199 points in the 10m air pistol individual competition, while Arjun came in eighth place overall with 113 points. The event’s gold medal was won by Quang Huy Pham of Vietnam.
Arjun and Sarabjot placed fifth and eighth, respectively, in the individual qualification event, each scoring 578 points and 580 points, respectively.
