Tottenham Hotspur play away at Sheffield United in the FA Cup
Tottenham Hotspur

(Football news) Tottenham Hotspur have won their last 2 games against London rivals Chelsea and West Ham by 2-0. They are in a decent run despite losing the Champions League Round of 16 match against AC Milan and the Premier League game against Leicester City. They now have a chance to make it to the FA Cup quarter finals as they take on Sheffield United. Tottenham Hotspur haven’t won a trophy since 2008 and they desperately need to break the drought. The FA Cup is their best chance to do so but there is still a long way to go.

Tottenham Hotspur are still missing Hugo Lloris, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon and Yves Bissouma. They will definitely be looking to rest a few of their regular players because the schedule is pretty busy. Players like Davinson Sanchez, Pedro Porro and Arnaut Danjuma will be very keen to get some game time. Antonio Conte is still not back as he continues to suffer from the after effects of gallbladder surgery. Assistant manager Cristian Stellini will once again take charge.

Sheffield United on the other hand will be without Billy Sharp, Rhian Brewster, Rhys Norrington-Davies, Enda Stevens and Jack O’Connell. However, right back George Baldock has returned to full training and could return to the bench. Tottenham Hotspur are a quality team but they have the tendency to lose such games. Sheffield are currently 2nd on the Championship table but they are not in the best of forms having lost 2 of their last 3 games. They will have to play a perfect game in order to get the better of Tottenham Hotspur.
