Maha Mumbai Kabaddi League nears playoffs with two slots already full

(Sports news) The Sheru Classic MMKL is reaching a focal point in the tournament as teams near the playoffs and two out of the four slots are already full. The eleventh day of the tournament saw Mumbai Ultras Kabaddi Club take over the Mumbai che Maharaje as they tried to get a spot in the top four. 

In the second match, fans witnessed Raje Chandrarao Warriors get a clean sweep against the August Kranti Express, helping them get to the third spot in the points table. The third and the fourth match assured the playoffs spot for the current top two teams, Gavali Dhurandhar and Borivali Bahubali, ended the hopes for Goregaon Gladiators while Namo Bharat hoped to make it in their next and last match at the league stage.

The Mumbai che Maharaje defeated the Mumbai Ultras Kabaddi Club by a single point, with the help of a brilliant performance from Akash Kadam, helping Maharaje get the third spot in the points table above the Mumbai Ultras. The second match from the senior category saw the Goregaon Gladiators redeem themselves as they beat the Borivali Bahubalis by 25 points. The Bahubalis however, remained at the bottom most position with just two points in their kitty. 

The twelfth day of the league will bring to us the competition between the women's junior category teams as they fight it out to make it to the finals. The league is happening LIVE at the Sports Complex, Mumbai University, Kalina Campus, and is streaming LIVE on SportVot.
