Indian javelin thrower Annu Rani fails to qualify after finishing 14th at the Tokyo Olympics

(Athletics news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: Annu Rani’s Olympic campaign came to an end when she finished 14th in the Women’s Javelin Throw Group A with a highest throw of 54.04m on her third attempt. Her previous two throws reached a distance of 50.35m and 53.19m in a disappointing end to her Olympic dream.

Maria Andrejczyk from Poland finished in first position with an impressive 65.24m, Mackenzie Little from Australia finished in second place with 62.37m, Lyu Huihui from China finished third with 61.99m and Madara Palameika from Latvia finished fourth with 60.94m.
