(Golf news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: It was a fantastic round 2 for Aditi Ashok as the Indian golfer finished 2nd, tied with two Danes Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Emily Kristine Pedersen. The reigning Women's PGA Champion Nelly Korda from the United States finished in first place with 13 under par at the end of Round 2.

Despite the extreme heat and the threat of a summer storm, it is still expected to be a four day event. However, contingency plans have come into effect with Round 3 beginning on split tees and holes 1 to 10 will be played at 7:30 am (Japan time) due to extreme heat. Tokyo Olympics officials are hoping to begin Round 4 earlier than usual to avoid the impending tropical storm disrupting the golf proceedings. The event also faces the possibility of being reduced to 54 holes with the final round being cancelled.
