Will Eden Hazard be a good signing for Arsenal?

(Football news) Eden Hazard was one of the best players in the world at Chelsea who never suffered long term injuries, despite being the most fouled player in Europe consistently. In 2019, the Belgian secured a big money move to his dream club Real Madrid. Since then, Hazard has made only 47 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos after suffering a total of 14 injuries since he arrived in the Spanish capital.

The beginning of all the crisis was when Hazard turned up overweight when he arrived in Madrid after his transfer. The winger since then kept suffering injuries time after time and couldn't manage to play regularly. The final blow was when Vinicius Jr reached his potential and started playing really well on the left wing. Hazard has been an unused substitute for the majority of the season and reports suggest that he has given up on his Real Madrid dream. He now finds himself behind Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Marco Asensio in the pecking order.

The Premier League looks like the league where Hazard will return to. There is very little hope that Eden Hazard would stay at Real Madrid. Real Madrid will be keen on selling Eden Hazard to get him off their wage bill. Recent rumours state that Arsenal are continuing with their theme of signing former Chelsea players and are interested in Hazard’s services. The Belgian could be a hit or miss at Arsenal but if he is able to get his form and fitness back then, it will be a good move for all 3 parties.

With rumours of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, Real Madrid cannot afford to keep Eden Hazard at the Bernabeu. Hazard’s entire Real Madrid career has been very sad for both the player and the fans. Real Madrid can only imagine what it would have been like to watch a fit and in-form Eden Hazard lighting up the Santiago Bernabeu.
