UCL Matchweek 3: Barcelona play a do or die game against Dynamo Kiev; out-of-form Manchester United host Atalanta

(Football news) Barcelona are potentially playing for survival against Dynamo Kiev. A defeat for the Blaugrana could make their qualification very very complicated. Their fortunes have changed a bit as important players have recovered from their injuries. Their 3-1 comeback win against Valencia on Sunday was a good start in this difficult period. A win against Kiev will not only significantly better Barcelona's chances of making it past the group stages but also help them gain momentum for the El Clasico on Sunday. Sergio Aguero made his debut on the weekend as he was given 5 minutes by Ronald Koeman. The Argentine might get more minutes this time around. Ousmane Dembélé could also feature in the squad after returning to full training.

Manchester United face Atalanta at Old Trafford to try and leave their bad form behind them. United are currently 3rd behind Young Boys and Atalanta in the table. A win in this game will take them into the top 2. Raphael Varane is a long term absentee for Manchester United. Harry Maguire made a premature recovery and played 90 minutes against Leicester City but looked a shadow of a player he is and It'll be interesting to see if Maguire will start the game. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to think from all angles as they face Manchester City in the derby on Sunday. Solskjaer is under a lot of pressure after just 1 win in the last 5 games and that too thanks to a lucky last minute goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea host Swedish club Malmo after their narrow win against Brentford. The Blues are 2nd on the table after their loss against Juventus. Antonio Rudiger has returned to training after his back injury and is ready to start. Hakim Ziyech is still doubtful while Christian Pulisic is still not back to full fitness. Chelsea will be looking for a dominant performance after a lackluster performance against Brentford. 

Juventus will take on Zenit away from home. A point will be enough for the Italian club to stay on top of the table. Adrian Rabiot, Matthias De Ligt and Paulo Dybala are all ruled out from the match. Juventus defeated Roma on the weekend thanks to a goal from Moise Kean. Max Allegri might be looking to rest a few players before their big game against Inter Milan on the weekend.
