Serie A: AC Milan take on Torino as Napoli face Bologna at home in hope to increase their lead

(Football news) AC Milan and Napoli would both like to continue their unbeaten start to the season as they have set the early mark for the season. Inter on the other hand will be looking to take all three points against Empoli after being disappointed against Juventus, Lazio will face a tough fixture to Fiorentina as they too will be hoping to bounce back after a disappointing weekend.

AC Milan take on Torino as Stefan Poli’s side are enjoying one of the best starts to the season in recent history. Milan fans will have further reason to rejoice as players like Frank Kessie, Oliver Giroud, Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz are all expected to be fit and available for this midweek clash. Milan will have the opportunity to go on top of the standings and build some pressure on their rivals Napoli who don’t play till Thursday night. Stefan Poli will most likely drop Zlatan from the playing XI despite his good performance against Bologna as he might bring the youngster Brahim Diaz in place of him.

Napoli face Bologna at the Stadio Diego Maradona Stadium as Luciano Spalletti will be looking for one more victory after a disappointing draw to AS Roma last weekend. Napoli will most likely be without Kostas Manolas and Kevin Malcuit for this all important clash as Spalletti other than these two players will have a fully fit squad to choose from. Victor Osimhen has scored nine goals in ten appearances this season as his goals are the reason Napoli have made such a wonderful start to the season. For Napoli it is a must win game as they know if Milan win then they will lose their lead in the table.

Juventus take on Sassuolo at the Allianz Stadium, Allegri will be hoping to extend his nine match unbeaten run in all competitions as they draw closer to the clubs who sit above them. For Juventus, the majority of their squad is available for selection as Allegri will look to rotate his line up after playing two matches in three days, although Aaron Ramsey still remains out of favour with Allegri. Sassuolo tend to play their best games against top sides as Allegri will surely play De Ligt instead of Chiellini, mainly to cancel out the threat of Berardi and Hamed Junior Traore

Inter face Empoli away from home as they will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing draw against Juventus last weekend. Inzaghi will desperately look for a victory as they are already 7 points behind their city rivals in the standings, with some easy fixtures coming they will be hoping that they go on a run to close the gap up top. Inter will welcome back Stefano Sensi from a long term injury as Inzaghi will have a full strength squad to choose from. Inzaghi will not be on the touch line as he will serve his suspension for the red card he received against Juventus.
