It's been ten years since AC Milan won their last Scudetto and with a victory against Inter it will just enhance their chance to win a league title. For the defending champions Inter, it has been a topsy turvy start to the season, they are seven points behind their city rivals despite losing one league match so far. Both the sides will have full strength squads to pick from as the match is important for the title race.

Stefan Poli after the 1-1 draw to Porto said, “The strength of this team is awareness, they know they are young but also ambitious," From tonight we will think about the derby, it is very important for our ranking, for the atmosphere at the club and for our dreams”.

Inzaghi told reporters, “Qualification is in our hands,Now we just have to recover physical and mental energies because another intense and important match awaits us on Sunday."

Napoli face in-form Hellas Verona as Luciano Spalleti’s side will hope to take advantage if AC Milan drop points. Napoli will get an added boost of Victor Osimhen and Lorenzo Insigne being fit for the clash. Napoli, which has conceded three league goals all season, will be looking to extend its impressive start to the campaign at home to Hellas Verona, fully aware that it must stop Serie A's in-form striker Giovanni Simeone who has got 6 goals in two Serie A matches, that against top opposition in the form of Juventus and Lazio.

Juventus face a must win match against Fiorentina, Allegri’s side will be under pressure to perform and brush aside the horrible start they have endured at the beginning of the season. There will be some respite in the Juventus camp after they defeated Zenit 4-2 in the champions league midweek, a similar performance is required against a in form Dusan Vlahovic who netted a hat trick over Spezia last week. For Juventus Moise Kean, Aaron Ramsey and De Sciglio will all be out of the fixture as Juventus might revert back to Dybala, Chiesa and Morata up front.

AS Roma will look to go back to winning ways as they face Venezia, Jose Mourinho’s side will be left disappointed after they drew 2-2 to Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Conference league. For them to keep their hopes alive for Champions League football next year, they have to win these matches to keep the likes of Lazio and Atalanta away. Mourinho will again be without the service of Chris Smalling and Leonardo Spinazzola as he will have a full squad to select from, Jose needs to rotate his line up a bit as they will be playing 2 games in the span of 3 days.
