Masters students from India welcomed by La Liga club Cádiz

(Football news) A little over a year ago, All Indian Football Federation and La Liga’s Cádiz Club de Fútbol launched a Football Management program with the Spanish club aiming to contribute towards the development of Indian football as well as strengthen the ties with the country. 12 Indian students are already at Cádiz’s Nuevo Mirandilla stadium and have been welcomed by club president Manuel Vizcaino, and its vice-president, Rafael Contreras. Having already taken a tour of the stadium, the students were then made familiar with the facilities where they will take lessons for the next few weeks.

Students have been learning about different areas such as marketing, communication, leadership and project management skills, strategy, sponsorship, law, data management, ticketing, etc since the beginning of the program. In their trip to Spain, they will put all their lessons to practical use and experience day-to-day functionality of a top flight Spanish club. In addition, the students will also learn about the organization and operation of a La Liga sporting event when Cádiz Club de Fútbol faced Atlético Madrid on November 28th. In addition, the students will also receive Spanish classes.
