Juventus agree personal terms with PSG’s Leandro Paredes

(Football news) Leandro Paredes has reached an agreement with Juventus on personal terms as the player has been linked with a move to Turin for quite some time, and only the two clubs need to find an agreement for the fee. Paris Saint-Germain have signed several new midfielders such as Vitinha, Renato Sanches and now the imminent arrival of Fabian Ruiz joining their ranks this summer as a result of which they will trim the squad with Idrissa Gueye and Paredes expected to leave the club in the coming days.

The Argentinian will be looking to get regular playing time, given that the World Cup is coming up later this year. Juventus might be the best destination given that they need to bolster their midfield with options since they will be letting go of one of Arthur Melo or Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent days and a move could go through soon. Aaron Ramsey had his contract terminated already as he moved to Ligue 1 as a free agent to Nice. Leandro Paredes has spent two years with the French champions and has past experience of Serie A, playing with Roma previously. At the peak of his game, the midfielder might be returning to Italy to play with the Bianconeri once an agreement is found between the two clubs.

Juventus will certainly be a right fit Parades since their new signing Paul Pogba will be out for a couple of months as the Argentine can fill the void left by the Frenchman. Last season, Juventus’ midfield was the downfall for them as the likes of Arthur, Rabiot and McKennie couldn't establish themselves in the playing XI. With Parades coming in they will get some assurity in the midfield since PSG man has a high passing rate and usually controls the game from the midfield. If Juventus sign him then he will become the clubs 4th player joining this summer transfer window, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria and Bremer coming into the squad.
