Bundesliga: Champions Bayern take on Stuttgart as Dortmund face Furth

(Football news) Champions Bayern Munich will take on struggling VFB Stuttgart after a surprising defeat in their first game since confirming the title last time out, whilst the Stuttgart extended their winless run to leave them in the relegation zone. The Bavarians were off their usual best and were completely outclassed by Mainz, despite Robert Lewandowski finding the back of the net for the 34th time this season. Julian Nagelsmann's side struggled to cope with the intensity and the counter attacks, and Bayern were fortunate that the scoreline remained 3-1.

Although this is the most defeats that Bayern have suffered out of their last six title wins, they will be out to ensure that tally is not extended at the Allianz Arena, and will instead be looking to make history by another 100-goal season, with 93 their current tally heading into matchday 33.

Bayern Munich possible starting lineup:
Neuer; Stanisic, Sule, Hernandez, Davies; Kimmich, Tolisso; Gnabry, Muller, Coman; Lewandowski

Stuttgart possible starting lineup:
Muller; Mavropanos, Anton, Ito; Fuhrich, Endo, Karazor, Sosa; Tomas, Kalajdzic, Marmoush

Dortmund take on bottom club Furth as they look to secure second place in the Bundesliga. Marco Rose and his side have been inconsistent this season as it has cost them a realistic shot at Bayern Munich's Bundesliga crown once again. Although there appears to be very little to play for in the final two games, Dortmund are yet to confirm second place in the table, with a five-point gap keeping them above Bayer Leverkusen in third place.

Therefore, winning becomes important for the team as they look to confirm the runners-up spot against Greuther Furth. They will also be looking to avoid successive upsets against promoted sides. With Rose's job under serious pressure at numerous stages of a hugely underwhelming campaign, the former Borussia Monchengladbach boss may also need to avoid defeat if he wants to stay at the helm.

Greuther Furth possible starting lineup:
Linde; Griesbeck, Viergever, Bauer; Asta, Raschl, Tillman, Itter; Green; Leweling, Hrgota

Borussia Dortmund possible starting lineup:
Hitz; Can, Akanji, Zagadou, Guerreiro; Witsel, Bellingham; Wolf, Brandt, Reinier; Reus
