Rooter signs deal with Godlike Esports for exclusive streaming rights

(Esports news) Rooter has signed a deal with Godlike for the exclusive streaming rights for GodLike’s BGMI, Free Fire, CODM, and new forms of live gaming content with the partnership being stated to be the biggest eSports deal in India’s history. The deal is not just limited to game streaming as Rooter will also sponsor Godlike in all the upcoming tournaments and events. The team currently comprises ‘Jonathan’ Amaral, Abhijeet ‘Ghatak’ Andhare, Abhishek ‘ZGOD’ Choudhary, Vivek ‘ClutchGod’ Horo, Suraj ‘Neyoo’ Majumdar, and Ashpreet ‘Gill’ Singh. All these streamers will now exclusively be seen streaming live streams on Rooter, as a part of this collaboration.

Despite esports being at a nascent stage in India, the industry has quickly scaled to INR 3 billion in FY2021 and estimates pointing towards 11 billion by FY2025. Moreover, esports could generate an economic value of INR 100 billion between now and FY2025.
