The defender Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen, who may be available on a free transfer during the summer transfer window, looks to be a target for Barcelona.
According to the rumor mill, Tah’s transfer to Barcelona is “practically completed,” and he will go to Catalunya at the end of the current campaign.
Hansi Flick’s defensive options will be expanded if Tah shows up, but it will also necessitate a few departures.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona has already defended the four center-backs they hope to have in their team for the upcoming campaign: Tah, Ronald Araujo, Inigo Martinez, and Pau Cubarsi.
Since they don’t see Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen having minutes, they are obviously willing to let them go.
There have been rumors that Eric would leave in January if good offers come in, as he is already having trouble getting playing time this season.
Although Christensen has stated that he wants to stay and is still out due to injury, it seems that Tah’s presence would be detrimental to the Denmark international.
