Thrilling Test between England Women and Australia Women ends in a draw

(Cricket news) Australia Women and England Women competed in a thrilling draw in the Commonwealth Bank Women's Ashes Test match. Having to score 257 runs in 48 overs, Heather Knight and her teammates attempted to chase and appeared to be favourites when Knight and Sciver combined for a 72-run partnership. Despite Sophia Dunkley keeping the score ticking, Australia reduced the visitors to the last wicket and Sophie Ecclestone and Kate Cross ensured both the sides shared points.

The first ODI is at the same venue on Thursday, the multi-format Women's Ashes series sits at 6-4 to the hosts.
