UFC Fight Night – Rozenstruik vs Sakai aka UFC Vegas 28 is the battle of four top 10 heavyweights.

Headlined by ranked 7 Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs ranked 8 Augusto Sakai.

The co-main has ranked 9 Marcin Tybura taking on ranked 10 Walt Harris.

This event features 6 bouts, all male, mostly in the higher weight divisions.

Following a rare weekend off, the bounce-back fight for the heavies in the main event is a crucial clash between Suriname’s very own Jaizinho ‘Bigi Boy’ Rozenstruik and Brazilian Augusto Sakai.

Both fighters are coming off losses and had the opportunity for a step-up in their respective previous outings, and both fighters disappointed.

Rozenstruik with his lackluster 5 round loss to Ciryl Gane showed holes in his game. But more importantly, the inactivity and ability not to fire was a matter of concern. The usual quick-to-finish Rozenstruik took a measured approach and saw a massive drop in his performance.

For Sakai, it looked less disappointing. After going a perfect 4-0 in the UFC, he faced the Demolition Man – Alistair Overeem. To which he took a bad beating and the Dutchman ended the fight early in the fifth round. For a first main event, it looked ok for Sakai as he stepped up in competition and lost to a better man.

Since this heavyweight division is so wide open with a new champion in Francis Ngannou and a splendid addition in Jon Jones, you never know where the mix could head with a couple of good wins for either of these fighters.

In the co-main event, we have another pair of massive heavyweights when America’s Walt Harris takes on Polish powerman Marcin Tybura.

Walt Harris suffered a major blow in 2019 when his daughter was kidnapped and murdered. It took a mental toll on him. When he finally decided to come back to the octagon, he categorically said, This is what his daughter would’ve liked.

However, the results didn’t go in his favor and he lost both his comeback fights.

Tybura, on the other hand, is on a 4 fight win streak and is looking sharper and better with each moving fight. His striking has become crisp and coach Damian is making sure Tybura gets his fifth win against a tough competitor in Harris.
