Thomas Muller recalled for Germany’s Euro 2020 squad along with Werner, Rudiger and Havertz

Germany’s manager Joachim Low announced his 26 man squad for Euro 2020 on Wednesday morning which saw Thomas Muller as a surprise inclusion to the Die Mannschaft. The 2014 World Champions are all set to face the current World Champions, France in their opening game on June 15.

Low had previously announced that Muller would be excluded from the national team in March 2019 and would not feature in the future along with his teammates Mats Hummels and Jorome Boateng. The surprising U-turn by Joachin Low in his last tournament as Germany manager has also seen Hummels being recalled into the fold.

Germany have always been favourites going into any international tournament, however, the four time World Champions not only face France in their opening match but also the current European Champions Portugal in their second fixture on June 19th.
