England women defeat New Zealand by 13 runs in rain affected second Royal London International

(Cricket news) In a tense, rain-affected match in Worcester, England women successfully defended 197 runs to defeat New Zealand at the second Royal London International. Danni Wyatt’s unbeaten 67 in her 200th game for England was the only silver lining in an overall disappointing batting display by the Three Lions.

Tash Farrant’s 22 runs in a record breaking tenth wicket partnership of 51 helped England post 197 runs. Kate Cross took three wickets and Charlie Dean’s 4-36 after the rain break took England over the line against New Zealand.
