(Archery news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: It was a closely contested battle between Atanu Das and Oh Jin-hyek in the men's individual 1/16 Eliminations with very little to separate the two. Both Das and Jin-hyek matched each other point for point without giving anything away but it was India’s Atanu Das who emerged the winner as he beat the former Olympic and World Champion 10-9 in the shoot-off to progress into the pre-quarterfinals.
With this result, both Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das have now progressed to the pre-quarterfinals of the individual archery events and stand a chance to win medals in Tokyo. Stay tuned for regular updates!
