Ancelotti Praises Valverde, Talks Vinícius

Federico Valverde, who can play a variety of roles on the field with ease, is one of football’s most flexible players, according to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti. “Fede is a vital member of the team and a complete player. He is able to perform flawlessly in a variety of roles. Finding a right-back like him is difficult. I find it challenging to determine the team’s ideal position for each game. Ancelotti underlined, “We need him more as a pivot at times and as a full-back at others.

“I make the decisions, and the player is always available,” he added. He never makes requests. Because of his strength, he is possibly the most versatile football player, capable of playing every position. He had no trouble playing as a center-back as well. Valverde, who leads Real Madrid in minutes played, has been an exceptional player who has helped the squad bounce back from their Supercopa de España loss with three straight wins.

Ancelotti also praised Rodrygo’s increased consistency and highlighted his recent play. “The continuity that Rodrygo has lacked in the past is what makes him stand out right now. He was a player that performed exceptionally well in some games but poorly in others. Ancelotti praised Rodrygo’s eight goals and three assists in the previous nine games, saying, “He has scored many goals and provided assists, demonstrating consistency in his game.”

Dani Ceballos’ comeback was hailed by the Italian coach, who affirmed his place in the starting lineup. “After battling injuries, he has returned to his best self and has made a huge contribution during this time. The team feels safer with him in possession now, even though I haven’t always given him the minutes he needs to get back into shape. He can play in pivotal games without needing to replace any of our offensive guys.

The reports about Vinícius Junior and Saudi Arabia’s alleged involvement were also discussed at the press conference. In a composed response to these rumors, Ancelotti stated his intention to retain the Brazilian player at the team. “These days I’ve reflected a bit because I’ve been angry too often in press conferences, which I shouldn’t be. I know why I was upset, but I need to remain calm and composed. It doesn’t bother me to be asked about Vinícius. He is a fundamental player for us, and he’s not going anywhere,” he stated.

Ancelotti stressed the significance of the game in preserving Real Madrid’s advantage in La Liga and ruled out any squad rotation as the team prepares to play bottom-place Real Valladolid. “The objective is obvious; we have assumed leadership roles and need to hold onto them at this pivotal point in the season. I give this game the weight it merits. Since tomorrow’s game is the most crucial one, we must maintain our lead, and I will field the greatest team I can. Although the timetable is rigorous, he emphasized, “we are gradually finding our rhythm and confidence.”

Ancelotti expressed hope for the team’s progress despite the stress of recent losses. “The season has its more challenging and less challenging times, but I see the team becoming better and obtaining the speed it needs to compete in every tournament. I’m really confident in our ability to do well.
